WORLD’S HIGHEST RAIL BRIDGE
The world’s longest bridge is under construction in Kashmir valley. It is 5 times the height of Kutub Minar and 35 times the height of Eiffel Tower. It is being constructed on Chenab river in Jammu and Kashmir State of Union of India. It is a part of an ambitious Udampur – Srinagar – Baramula rail link project of 73 km section of Katra – Dharam division and is 65 km away from Katra on Chenab river at a height of 359 Mtrs. Konkan Rail Corporation who is pioneer in constructing 179 big bridges in Konkan area is tasked with this project. 1315 mtr long Chenab river bridge will consume 10 billion tonnes of Iron and would become an engineering marvel.

JANAM NAKSHATRA
